You need to create a Google Account.
You probabaly need an e-mail address that doesn't identify you, as it is clearly visible when you log in to the Doc.

 

There are other intersting tools that are rapidly appearing.

This is the tool that was used to create the Screencasts on our site. But it could used to record children discussing, annotating a text, solving maths problems and the like.
