What's the difference between them?

Take four similar lidded jars.

One has a ball of plasticine inside.

One is half full with water.

One is half full with sand.

One is empty.

What can these four jars tell you about the properties of
the three states of matter?

Make a table showing the three states, explain which is which, and add a list of properties for each state.

Try and do this without looking at the answer. Keep your ideas and then look again in two weeks time to see if your ideas have changed.
