Rafts

You are going to build a raft later in the term.

It must:

  • Float
  • Carry a 0.5Kg mass.
  • Be capable of being pulled across the swimming pool without sinking.
  • The mass must not get wet as you pull it across the pool.
  • It must have a rectangular strengthened frame as part of the design.
  • You are welcome to come up with different designs and using a wider variety of materials, if made at home.
  • You must fill in a design chart before you start building.
  • You must create a step by step set of instructions as you create your raft.
