Life on a Tudor warship.

The most famous Tudor Warship is the
Mary Rose.

She was built between 1509 and 1511. She was one of the first warships to be able to fire broadside. She was Henry VIII's favourite and she sank fighting the Frecn in 1545. That would have been the end of the story but she was raised from the mud of the Solent in 1982.

The MaryRose.org website is full of information about the ship.

You are now able to find out about the lives of people onboard.
