We are a Community School which opened in 1978, and we cater for children from 8-11 years old. The accommodation includes six classrooms, a hall, a dining hall, a library and a resource area. There is also a swimming pool on site which is administered by the First School, to which all our children have access during the year.
Most of our pupils come from Mundesley, Bacton, Trunch, Gimingham, Knapton and surrounding districts.
On completion of their Junior School education, most of our pupils transfer to North Walsham High School. Details of transfer arrangements are published by the Local Education Authority, and are distributed to all parents of Year 6 children in the Autumn Term.
Parents considering sending their children to the school are welcome to visit by appointment. A meeting for parents of children who will be joining us in Spetember is held in the preceding Summer term each year.
